The 2021 Alice in Wonderland £2 Silver ProofAlice's Adventures in Wonderland (often just called Alice in Wonderland) is a book published in 1865 by Lewis Carrol (a pseudonym of Charles Dodgson). It is a fantasy story of a young girl who falls through a rabbit hole into a mysterious World full of strange people and talking animals, such as the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Queen of Hearts. It is one of the most popular books in English literature.
This coin is a limited edition one-ounce (31.21g) 999 silver proof and denominated as £2. The one ounce coin is colourised. There is a half-ounce silver proof of the same design that is not colourised. The BU equivalent is issued as a £5 coin and gold coins were also minted.
