King Canute (Cnut) Silver Penny. Struck between 1024 and 1035 at the Thetford mint. Moneyer was AElfwine. Diameter 19mm and weighs 0.93g. SCBC 1158.

The Obverse is called a Pointed Helmet type. King Cnut (CNVT REX AN) wears a pointed helmet and holds a scepter.

Reverse is a voided short cross with pellet in the centre.

Condition of this coin is EF.
