Caligula
37AD-38AD Sestertius – Gaius (Caligula) -Bronze Sestertius of Emperor Gaius, who is also known as Caligula. The Obverse shows the laureate head of Gaius facing left.
37AD-38AD Dupondius – Gaius (Caligula) -Obverse shows Julius Nero and Julius Drusus on horseback galloping to the right. They were two brothers of Gaius and were recognized as heirs to the emperor Tiberius.
39AD Quadrans – Gaius (Caligula) -Bronze Quadrans (a quarter of an As) of Emperor Gaius (better known as Caligula). The letters RCC at the centre record the remission of a tax (remissa ducentesima) of half a percent on sales.
37AD-38AD As – Gaius (Caligula) -Copper As of Emperor Gaius (better known as Caligula) minted between 37AD and 38AD at the Rome Mint. Reverse is the Goddess Vesta.
