King Cnut (Canute) and the 2017 Gold 5 Pound Coin - King Cnut the Great, better known to many as King Canute, was King of Denmark, England, and Norway. To commemorate the 1000th anniversary of King Cnut's ascendance to the English crown in 2017, the Royal Mint struck a gold proof five pounds piece (£5).

The Gold Broad – Cromwell’s 20 Shilling Coin - The Gold Broad was only issued in 1656 and was denominated as 20 shillings, marking it as an ancestor of the guinea and sovereign. In 1656 there was no Monarch; Oliver Cromwell was Lord Protector and the parliament was the Second Protectorate.

1923 Florin – George V - The florin is a two-shilling coin. In 1923 the silver content was 50%. Reverse shows crowned cruciform shields separated by sceptres in the angles.

1993 40th Anniversary of the Coronation Gold Crown - The 1993 gold proof crown was issued to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

1789 Half-Guinea – Spade Design – George III - The 1789 Half-Guinea designed by Lewis Pingo (1743-1830), shows the Spade design, used between 1787 and 1800.

1929 Halfcrown - The Reverse shows a quartered shield of arms with crowned royal cyphers each side by George Kruger Gray.

2018 One Pound Coin – Nations of the Crown - The 2018 One Pound Coin reverse shows a Rose, leek, thistle, and shamrock encircled by a coronet which are the Nations of the Crown representing the United Kingdom.

2021 Queen’s Beasts – 1oz Silver Proof - The Queen's Beasts series concludes with a coin that shows all ten of the Queen's Beast. This one-ounce .999 silver proof was issued on 29 April 2021.
