In 1922 the British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter discovered the best preserved Pharaonic tomb ever found in the Valley of the Kings - Tutankhamun's Tomb. Tutankhamun reigned in the 18th Dynasty, around 1332 – 1323BC. He was a boy King, being only 19 when he died.
