The 2026 Cluedo 50p BU - Charles IIIA UK 50p coin minted to BU standard, celebrating the ever-popular Cluedo board game. Invented in 1943 by British board game designer Anthony E. Pratt, Cluedo has gone on to sell more than 150 million games.
The Reverse, created by Henry Gray, shows six popular character pieces from Cluedo on a background of words used in the game. The legend explains the basic premise: "WHO, WHERE AND WITH WHAT?". At the bottom is the famous Cluedo logo.
The characters are not colourised on this standard BU version, but a colourised BU coin is available. The coin is available as BU, BU Colour, Silver Proof and Gold Proof.
The edge is plain.The Obverse is the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. Legend "CHARLES III D G REX F D 50 PENCE 2026".
