The 2023 Silver Britannia - 1oz Bullion Charles III

The bullion version of the 2023 Silver Britannia and has the head of King Charles III. The 2023 Silver Britannia is also available with the head of Queen Elizabeth II.

The coin carries several security features that have been copied from the Gold Britannia. The features are:

• An image that changes from padlock to trident as the coin moves (known as a 'latent' image).
• Micro text saying 'an ornament and a safeguard'.
• Surface animation gives the effect of sparkling waves.
• The shield and Union flag on the shield have tincture marks.

Together, these new security features make the coin very difficult to counterfeit. The coin itself contains one troy ounce with the alloy of 99.9% silver.

The Reverse shows the standing figure of Britannia by Philip Nathan.

The Obverse shows a portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.

Denomination: £2 (two pounds).
