The 2023 Fifty Pence Windrush Generation - Charles III50p coin minted to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Windrush Generation. It is a tribute to the many British Caribbean and Commonwealth citizens who arrived in the UK between 1948 and 1973, initially on ship HMT Empire Windrush in 1948.
The Reverse, by Valda Jackson, shows two people of the Windrush generation standing with a Union Jack, in the background to the left are the numbers "75".
