The 2022 Fifty Pence 100th Anniversary of Our BBC - Elizabeth II50p coin released on 10 October 2022 to commemorate 100 years of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). The coin was designed before the Queen's death but it was decided it should still be released with the Obverse showing Queen Elizabeth II.
The Fifty Pence coin is made in BU, Silver Proof, Silver Proof Piedfort, Gold Proof, Gold Proof Piedfort and Platinum Proof.
The Reverse, by Henry Gray, shows a BBC antenna transmitting to all countries around the globe to "educate and entertain".
