2011 America the Beautiful Quarters is part of the America the Beautiful Quarters® Silver Proof Set series and was the 2nd set to be released. The US Mint launched the series in 2010 to commemorate the most cherished National Parks and other National sites. Each year 5 quarters of different designs are minted and released as both Proof and Uncirculated. The series consists of 56 coins and runs from 2010 until 2021 inclusive.
Each obverse of the 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters shows John Flanagan’s 1932 portrait of George Washington. Each coin is 90% silver and weighs 6.25g with a diameter of 24.3mm (0.955 inches) and are available as Uncirculated or Proof. The edge is reeded. Coins are minted in either Philadelphia (P) or Denver (D).

Gettysburg National Military Park, Pennsylvania
Shows the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument at the battle line of the Union Army at Cemetery Ridge. Inscriptions are GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA, 2011 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The Reverse was designed by Joel Iskowitz and engraved by Phebe Hemphill.
Glacier National Park, Montana
Shows the northeast slope of Mount Reynolds in the distance with a mountain goat climbing over the rocky slopes in the park’s high country. Inscriptions are GLACIER, MONTANA, 2011 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The Reverse was designed by Barbara Fox and engraved by Charles L. Vickers.
Olympic National Park, Washington
Show a Roosevelt elk walking down a gravel river bar of the Hoh River. Mount Olympus is in the background. Inscriptions are OLYMPIC, WASHINGTON, 2011 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The Reverse was designed by Susan Gamble and engraved by Michael Gaudioso.
Vicksburg National Military Park, Mississippi
Shows the U.S.S. Cairo on the Yazoo River as it would have looked when it served the Union Navy during the Civil War. Inscriptions are VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, 2011 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The Reverse was designed by Thomas Cleveland and engraved by Joseph Menna.
Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Oklahoma
Shows the Lincoln Bridge, built of limestone and dedicated in 1909 to celebrate the centennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth. Inscriptions are CHICKASAW, OKLAHOMA, 2011 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The Reverse was designed by Donna Weaver and engraved by Jim Licaretz.
The 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters set was originally issued in a clear plastic presentation box.
