1758 Shilling – George II

1758 Shilling Obverse

The 1758 Shilling - George II

The Reverse shows crowned cruciform shields, Garter star at centre, Legend around with date at top.

This is probably the most common (and least expensive) George II shilling.

There is a variant with a small '58' in the date.

The Obverse shows a portrait of King George II.
