785-792 Penny – Offa - The coins of King Offa are known for their quality and artistic content, and this exceptional silver penny is a great example. It was struck around 785-792 (maybe 793) at the London mint of moneyer Eadhun.

1918 KN Penny – George V - The Kings Norton 1918KN Penny, minted by the Kings Norton Metal Co in Birmingham. It is the same design as other 1918 pennies with the exception of the 'KN' mint mark.

1578-1579 Penny – Elizabeth I - Hammered Silver Penny of Elizabeth I, minted between 1578 and 1579 at the Tower Mint in London. Fifth issue, 0.921 silver. Diameter 15mm. Mint mark is a cross.

1141 Penny – Empress Matilda - The 1141 Penny of Empress Matilda aka Empress Maude, was one of the claimants to the English throne during the civil war known as the Anarchy. Her 'reign' was 1141-1148.

810 Penny – Coenwulf of Mercia - Silver Penny of King Coenwulf of Mercia. Struck around 810-821 at the Canterbury Mint. Moneyer was Oba. Anglo-Saxon, Kings of Mercia. Diameter 21mm.

1912 H Penny – George V - The 1912H Penny, minted by Heaton & Sons in Birmingham. It is the same design as other 1912 pennies with the exception of the 'H' mint mark.

1280-1281 Penny – Class III Bristol Mint – Edward I - Silver penny of King Edward I, minted around 1280-1281 at the Bristol Mint. The Reverse shows a long cross, with three beads in each angle.

1377-1399 Penny – York – Richard II - The 1377 Penny of King Richard II, minted at the York mint. The coin is heavily worn and clipped, and this is typical of the sort of condition that you find of coins of Richard II.

825 Penny – Aethelstan, King of East Anglia - Silver Penny of King Aethelstan, minted around 825AD by moneyer Edgar working in East Anglia. Diameter is 20mm and weighs about 1.21g.
