Coins Sets contain 2 or more coins. They may be collections of coins of the same denomination genre (like Sovereign sets), they may be Year Sets (such as coins of 2000) or really anything that a mint wants to sell as a collection. Some sets come from official mints but they may also be produced by private mints or companies.
Sets can fall into several categorisations, so to make it easier to find a set we have decided on a simple grouping of the generally accepted name of the set and how many coins in the set (not counting any commemorative artefacts). The year is the year of issue of the set and this is not always the date(s) of the coins. If we are unsure we use the most recent date of the coins in the set.
