The 2020 50 Pence Coin - Withdrawal from the EUAfter several starts and cancellations, the UK is leaving the European Union on 31 January 2020 and the coin has actually been released!
The Reverse is a simple text statement "Peace, Prosperity and Friendship to all nations", with a written date below.
Besides the BU version, the coin is also available as silver proof and gold proof, both limited to 1500.
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.There was also a "Withdrawal from the European Union 2020 Strike on the Day Sovereign" issued in red gold on the same day.
