Remember 2019 ?
The Monarch is Elizabeth II. UK Prime Minister is Theresa May (Conservative), but she resigns in June and Boris Johnson becomes leader, soon with no majority in the Commons. Brexit still dominates and to break the stalemate a General Election is called in December with a spectacular result for the Conservatives; Boris has a majority of 80. SNP dominate Scotland. US President is Donald Trump. England win an amazing Cricket World Cup and the Ashes; Ben Stokes is hero. The World worries about climate change.
The American Silver Eagle is a one-ounce .999 silver coin denominated at one dollar. It is the official silver bullion coin of the USA and as such is guaranteed by US Law to contain one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver.

The coin has been produced at the Philadelphia, San Francisco and West Point Mints. Although primarily a bullion coin, the coin is popular with collectors and is also available in Proof and Uncirculated finishes.

The Obverse design is based on the Walking Liberty Half-Dollar (1916-1947) by Adolph A. Weinman. The Reverse shows a heraldic eagle by John Mercanti, replaced in late 2021 by a bald eagle landing on a branch by Emily Damstra.
