Edith Wilson was the second wife of 28th President, Woodrow Wilson. This coin was released in 2013.

Born as Edith Bolling on 15 October 1872 in Virginia. She married Woodrow Wilson in 1915, it was a second marriage for both of them. She died 28 December 1961, aged 89.

The Obverse, by Michael Gaudioso, shows a portrait of Mrs Wilson.

The Reverse shows a hand on top of a cane, with Mrs Wilson's hand supporting it, as her husband had suffered a serious stroke.

Where the President does not have a spouse, then an image of Liberty from that time period is used on the Obverse. Images from the life of the Presidential term are used on the Reverse.
