The 1909 Gold Sovereign - Sydney Mint

The 1909 Sydney Sovereign depicts Benedetto Pistrucci’s famous portrayal of St George slaying the dragon on the reverse of the coin. The small 'S' above the date indicates that this coin was minted in the Sydney Mint, New South Wales, Australia.
