1906 Gold Sovereign Perth

The 1906 Gold Sovereign - Perth

King Edward VII Gold Sovereign minted at the Perth Mint, Australia. A small 'P' above the date is the mint mark of the Perth Mint.

Benedetto Pistrucci’s famous portrayal of St. George slaying the dragon is depicted on the reverse of the coin.

The Obverse shows a portrait of King Edward VII. The engravers initials (just below the head) are "De S" denoting George William De Saulles (1862-1903).
